Legendarii The Who anunţă apariţia pe DVD şi Blu-Ray a concertului de la Isle of Wight din 2004
De-a lungul anilor pe scena festivalului au urcat nume precum Jefferson Airplane, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors şi Jethro Tull.
Primul concert The Who la festivalul Isle of Wight din 1970 a râmas în istorie drept una din cele mai incredibile performanţe live.
Festivalul a fost inactiv timp de mai mulţi ani, dar a reînviat în 2002.
În 2004, The Who a cântat pentru a doua oară la Isle of Wight. Show-ul a fost înregistrat şi va apărea pe 2 iunie pe piaţă în format DVD şi Blu-Ray.
Concertul a fost primul din Regatul Unit al trupei de la moartea basistului John Entwistle în 2002.
Roger Daltrey şi Pete Townshend au fost pe aceeaşi scenă alături de chitaristul Simon Townshend, basistul Pino Palladino, toboşarul Zak Starkey şi clăparul John “Rabbit” Bundrick.
